This grand mass is one of the master’s most important and impressive works. With ironic modesty, Rossini dedicated his “little” work to the dear Lord. The elderly composer was well aware of the power of meditative and evocative music. The Petite Messe is the ideal work for the sublime setting where we will perform it in its original version.

The tower of the Baumwipfelpfad (tree top path)  is a sublime and unique location on the top of the Sommerberg mountain. Spectacular view into Switzerland, Alsace and Odenwald, a wonderful acoustic due to the wooden construction and the incredible silence of the Black Forest combine to a unforgettable concert experience.
