A mass by the Polish bel canto composer Franciszek Mirecki opens this atmospheric forest concert, performed by the Krakow Philharmonic mixed choir, brass band and French horn ensemble, as well as soloists from the festival. Surprising scenic and musical effects will enliven the forest on the Sommerberg, including several German premieres of pieces that Rossini conceived specifically as open-air numbers.

Accessibility
For most visitors, the “Grillplatz” can be reached with a pleasant 15–20 minute walk beneath tall trees from either the mountain station of the cable car or the Sommerberg parking lot. For those who have difficulty with the walk, a shuttle service is available, departing from Bad Wildbad at 6:40 p.m. The shuttle is wheelchair accessible and will take you back down to the valley after the concert. The shuttle costs €9 per person. Please note that it is not possible to book seats on the bus. Reservations and payment must be made in advance through the Tourist Information Office (König-Karl-Str. 5, touristik@bad-wildbad.de, Tel. +49 7081 102 80).
